I type "google.com" into my address bar.
Something is askew. The Google home page has a new tiny little note at the bottom, exclaiming things about a dead guy:
And I'm like... who the heck is Randy Pausch, and furthermore, why should I care. But as you can see from the pictured link, I clicked it.
And I watched a very witty man who knew he was going to die in about a year explain his life story. This in itself was interesting, but what I want to draw attention to (and thus hiding away the video link in the picture of the Google featuring, if you want to see it) was what he talked about near the end.
It teaches objected based programing in a "head fake" much like the ones Marc Prensky has been babbling about for years.
If you don't know programing, pick up Alice now. You won't regret it, and it runs on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
