The first one is here. With more supposedly to come.
If you aren't a big sports watcher either, and missed it at the NFL kickoff game, like me, catch it below.
Not perfect, but the talk up with the explanation video and PressPass site puts things into more perspective.
Still, I have to say that talking Windows up like its delicious and moist, while not a lie, does bring up some thoughts of other things that have claimed to be delicious and moist, like cake.
I don't know what else to say, but I certainly hope future ads are more then just Jerry Seinfeld talking to Microsoft employees.
And more randomness with my bits to fill out this story:
I think having Bill Gates in the ads is a great idea, amongst other Microsoft employees. An outsider or two is okay, but I don't think they should stick with just one for the whole campaign (no offense to Seinfeld here) because the goal shouldn't be to make an actor be Microsoft, but Microsoft be Microsoft.
Don’t get me wrong: I’m not yearning for the “Wow Starts Now.” But I’m not wowed by the first in what is expected to be a series of star-studded ads designed to reshape Microsoft’s consumer image.
And yes, I really hope future ads more closely resemble something that makes you want to buy something.
Still, at least Bill Gates isn't outside your Windows watching you and your children, or pushing you off a skyscraper.
