So in case nobody noticed, I took the time to change some colors and introduce the logo.
This is not the finished layout, and not near it, as I want to do major revamping (i.e. to a hand crafted template of my own design), but I need some feedback on the colors I have right now.
Also, the logo. I have a decent drawing of it including a vector, but it isn't perfect from the descriptors (the logo is supposed to be a golden parallelogram with an equilateral triangle connected to it that is bisected on the bottom side by a line; this is, of course, difficult to get down perfectly). I need feedback on that too.
And while I'm at it, why not the content of this blog?
Or just speak your mind. Honestly, anything would be nice to hear. I'm constantly working on this blog as an ongoing project, and there is always room for improvement.
I'm not sure I'm 100% happy with these colors, or those of the logo's so if you like it, speak up, or grab a copy of the template. Things can change.

The new layout certainly makes your blog look different than the countless others out there. It could sure use some tweaking though, e.g. the logo, as you said needs to be finalized. The sidebar's link color (not on-hover, just the regular one) could be made a bit different (it's not very visible against the sidebar background).
You may remember, I used to have a different layout for my blog some months ago. I changed it because I thought it was too "heavy". So, I went with a white background, a wider post area (something that annoys me with other blogs), since most folks now have at least a 1280 by 800 screen & it's annoying to have loads of negative space, while scrolling down forever. I also got rid of many scripts & flash modules. Right now, I'm considering getting rid of BlogRush (the slowest loading component) & changing the header to fit smaller screens better. I am also using a "portal" page now to provide links to mobile-optimized versions of the site (e.g at 320x240 or lower res.) That site is http://lituus.co.nr
I also feel ads are slowing down my site, so I'll be removing slow/not-revenue-earning ones.
